tiany (Göttingen) will maintain and develop the analysis-facing flavor-tagging selection and efficiency tools. She will extend the existing tools to support b-tagging working points that are not derived centrally by the FTag group. In particular, the tools should be configurable by analyzers so that working points that depend on jet kinematics (e.g. pT) can be used. She will work closely with FTag collaborators who are automating the b-tagging calibrations so that these non-standard working points can also be calibrated in an efficient way. A very important component of Yusong's task will be to keep the relevant software up-to-date in GitLab and clearly documented for the use of ATLAS analyses and future developers.
