    Description

eriefel (Stockholm) will work on the calibration of the b-tagging efficiency for light jets using di-jet events with the primary goal of extending the pt range of the current calibration performed on Z+jets events.
Initially, the work will concentrate on optimising the event selection and studying the contribution from prescaled single jet and di-jet triggers. The second task will consist in adapting the procedure for the SF extraction used in the Z+jets analysis and identify potential differences and critical points that would require additional attention.
At the end, the evaluation of the effect of the leading source of systematic uncertainties on the result will be evaluated (if time permits).
All the procedure and corresponding software will be documented and made available in GitLab.
