Qualification Task for Tomke (Geneva)

toschroe will work on expanding the current FTAG training framework to include more labeling categories. This work will be carried out within the FTAG Algorithm group. It consists of the following aspects:

First she will update the workflow to make sure adding additional labels can be done in a straightforward way. Once this is done, she will use the existing training samples to test various categories (leptonic, bb, tau, q/g) and decide whether new samples are needed (most likely yes).

Once the infrastructure is in place, she will evaluate the performance of having additional categories. This study includes checking the input variables of different categories, comparing the performance with different setups and final designing a new tagger output. The complete workflow will be maintained and documented in git, making sure follow-up studies can be carried out easily after this QT.

The work will be reported in the Algo meeting regularly and be documented in git (SW) and an internal note (performance studies).
