Hi Eddie. Coming back to this proxy issue, I think that what you should be doing is checking the real lifetime of the proxy, i.e. the smallest of all the chain, not the one given as lifetime parameter
This would solve a lot of issues actually - both regarding the caching problem and the expiry problem
