When reading the decisions of the optimizer the throughput provided does not give any clue about it. We should provide a meaningful throughput which guides the optimizer to take the decision.
Example1: Here the throughput decreases but the optimizer increase the actives:
2016-05-26T14:53:18 6 4 277 100.00% 2.047 MB/s 2 Good link efficiency, current average throughput is larger than the preceding average
2016-05-26T14:52:18 4 3 155 100.00% 2.163 MB/s 2 Good link efficiency, current average throughput is larger than the preceding average
Example2: Here the throughput increases but the optimizer does not make any variation:
2016-05-26T19:09:29 6 7 895 100.00% 0.828 MB/s 0 Good link efficiency, no throughput changes
2016-05-26T19:04:29 6 7 895 100.00% 0.795 MB/s 0 Good link efficiency, no throughput changes
