from D. Van Dok
just found out that, while we rotate our gridftp log files daily, the
daemon keeps writing to the old log file. Short of restarting the
daemon, is there a way to tell it to use the new log file?
It doesn't concern most of the logging as the daemon forks a new process
for every transfer, and that process will open the current log file and
use it, but the mother keeps writing all these lines to the old one for
many days after, messing with the time stamps of the old files.
